1.

Structure of This Guide

This Fl4k Fade Away Crit Damage build guide is split in 3 different pages. The other 2 pages are the build overview and the skills, which you can access by clicking the buttonsbelow.

2.

Best-in-slot Gear

As this build is heavily reliant on weapons, many weapons are requiredfor optimal play. However, all weapons mentioned are excellent in theirown right and can be used in place of any weapons you are missing.

The first weapon you should look for this build is aKing's Call/Queen's Call pistol. The gun has a very small magazinesize, but refunds ammo to your magazine if you achieve a critical hit. Theweapon itself has a high damage output and allows you to shootindefinitely as long as you crit, making it an excellent gun to pair with yourFl4k (Beastmaster) Fade Away Crit Damage Bis Gear and Stat Priorities (1) Fade Away. However, this gun is less than ideal when you are unable tocrit and you should look for alternatives.

The second weapon you should look for is a Lucian's Call orRowan's Call. These assault rifles have good rates of fire and largemagazines for consistent shooting. They will also refund ammo on critical hitsand ricochet bullets to nearby enemies, making them excellent guns forgeneral usage. As the overall damage per second of these guns is not as highas your other guns, they should be used to fill the time when yourFl4k (Beastmaster) Fade Away Crit Damage Bis Gear and Stat Priorities (2) Fade Away is on cooldown and to trigger your Fl4k (Beastmaster) Fade Away Crit Damage Bis Gear and Stat Priorities (3) Head Count skill.

The last weapon you should look for is a Lyuda. The burst damage ofthe gun is amongst the highest in the game, with a single magazine from the gunbeing enough to take down many large enemies and bosses while usingFl4k (Beastmaster) Fade Away Crit Damage Bis Gear and Stat Priorities (4) Fade Away. The drawback of this gun is that it does not have the ammogeneration effect of the other guns, resulting in you burning through yourammo very quickly. The gun is therefore best used in situations where yourequire a huge burst of damage.

For Class Mods, Bounty Hunter is by far the best choice for thisbuild. The on-hit effect gives you an easy way to trigger your Kill Skills andthe second ability allows you to use your Fl4k (Beastmaster) Fade Away Crit Damage Bis Gear and Stat Priorities (5) Hunter's Eye skill for asignificant damage boost against bosses.

For this build, your choice of Artifact is not too important.Victory Rush can be used for a small boost in damage when taking onBadass enemies. Alternatively you can look for the Last Stand EpicArtifact, which will provide you with temporary invulnerability when yourhealth drops below 50% to give you additional survivability. However, youshould primarily be choosing your Artifact based on the secondary stats. The secondarystats you should look for are weapon type-specific damage and magazine size.

Due to this build having minimal healing from weapons and skills available, picking the right shield is essential for survival. The Transformeris the optimal choice for the task at hand. Not only does the shield absorbShock damage from your enemies, but it gives you the ability to heal yourselfwith your own self-inflicted Shock damage. Alternatively, you can choose to usethe Stop-Gap shield. While this option lacks the healing like TheTransformer, it provides a nice immunity effect when you shield is depleted, allowing you to quickly finish off enemies or find somewhere safe to hide.

In this build, Grenade Mods are not used for damage as there are no skillschosen that really boost them; instead, they serve as an alternative sourceof healing. If you are using a The Transformer Shield, you should try tofind yourself a Grenade Mod that deals large amounts of Shock damage to healyourself, with Fastball being the best option for this. Alternativelyyou can use Tran-fusion, which can be used for its lifesteal effect todirectly restore your health.

3.

Anointed Rolls

Anointed rolls are special additional effects that can appear on weapons andshields at higher levels. The special effects relate to the use of actionskills and provide powerful temporary buffs.

Unfortunately for this build, none of the Fl4k-specific anointments providedamage for this build. Instead, you should look for damage boosts usable forall classes. The best choice for this is 'On Action Skill End, Weapon Damage isincreased by 100% for a short time'.

Alternatively, you can also look for the 'On Action Skill End, Deal 125% moreWeapon Damage to Badass, Named, and Boss enemies for a short time' anointment. This option is slightly weaker for general usage but slightly stronger fordealing with bosses.

4.

Alternative Gear from Missions

If you have been unlucky, or simply too impatient, to get yourself aLyuda, you will be guaranteed to get one as a reward for completingall of Zer0's target of opportunity missions throughout the game. However,as this is an end-game weapon, you should make sure your character is maximumlevel before completing the final target of opportunity.
